On the evening of October 5th local time, the "Beauty of Each Country -2024 Sino French Art Exchange Exhibition" featuring works from 24 Chinese and French artists opened in the eastern French city of Besan ç on. The exhibition combines various art forms to promote Sino French art exchange.
It is reported that this event is hosted by the Franche Comt é Franco China Friendship Association and will be exhibited in Besan ç on from October 5th to November 3rd, and will be moved to Pontalier in eastern France from November 9th to 24th.
The reporter saw on site that the exhibition collected about 80 works from 12 artists from each country, including sculpture, painting, photography, calligraphy, and printmaking, in various forms.
By organizing this event, we are committed to helping both France and China better understand each other's art forms and techniques, and inspire each other, "said Pierre Manian Feso, President of the Franche Comt é Franco China Friendship Association.
Participating sculptor Paul Gones said that he really likes traditional Chinese landscape painting and calligraphy. Art has universality, and art from France and China share similarities. If there are such collaborative exhibitions in the future, I would be delighted to participate, "he said.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, as well as the Chinese French Year of Travel. As one of the cultural exchange activities under this framework, the "Beauty of Each Country -2024 Sino French Art Exchange Exhibition" was exhibited in Anhui Province, China in April this year, attracting about 100000 visitors.
